how did you remove the front plate bracket without removing the bumper? I wanted to do this but found no way without removing the bumper or destroying the bracket since the squeeze pins are inaccessible. I have the standard North American front plate bracket from the dealer.
I don't have hers handy as I put the plate back on it and told her to carry it in case she gets pulled over. "Sorry officer; it fell off yesterday and my dad is ordering a part from germany."
Anyway it doesn't look much different than this one they gave me with the 2022. There were two self-tapping screws holding the plate to the bracket and, once the plate was removed two more self-tapping screws holding the bracket to the bumper are visible.

Oh, I'm well aware. I have two glossy black ones filling the holes in my SL bumper, and I had painted two of them Iridium Silver for use with my 2006 CLK. I think a 20-pack cost me about $4 at Home Depot a dozen or so years ago. Like I said though, the holes in her bumper seem big enough for the push-fasteners.

How do you like the springs, with that combo?
Clearance issues?
Clearance is fine, no issues rubbing or anything of that sort since i am running 20x8.5 ET40 and 20x9.5 ET22 in the rear, springs are still settling 1.6 in the rear and 1.1 up front.
The only issue i guess i can talk about is the run flats but when it is time to replace them, i will go with good old regular tires.
Bought this back in October 2019, but I am new member to this forum so just wanted to post a few pictures taken throughout my ongoing ownership of this car ... Especially reviewing the first pictures from the dealership in LA that it had to be transported from, I am reminded of all those sleepless nights in the month leading up to its purchase in my hunt to finding a fully loaded GLC 300, sifting through national inventory on the daily - multiple times. Finally ended up with this at $21k in options and was delighted ... 3.5 years and a pandemic later, still a stunner in the garage and in traffic.
Where did you get the grill? I really like that it doesn't have the "AMG" badge.
What color wrap is the main car color? It looks phenomenal!
What wrap (including thickness) did you use on the chrome portion of the lower bumper valance? Is that a satin black? Maybe it's old aged eyes but it looks to me like you might have used a color complimentary to the main car color.
Did you use the same color on all the other chrome (barring the tips)? Those bits definitely do look like a satin black.
Whoever did the wrap did a damn fine job! Kudos to you selecting such an awesome color; I'm seriously impressed.

Avery satin metallic dark basalt

Avery satin black was used, I was trying to match the molding on the bumpers and side panels

Do you have distronic on the vehicle curios because you have illuminating star and my wife wants it on her's.
No distronic on mine. I believe the illuminated star isn’t available with distronic but could be wrong. I wasn’t a fan of the illuminated star at first but I’ve grown to love it!
