yet even when interior package is added there is an additional option below called "Illuminated Door sill panel" for $600

what is the difference between "Illuminated front door sills" and "Illuminated Door sill panel".

and if its the same thing why does the website let you pay extra for the same thing?

The sills are the same. You can buy them as an individual option or you can get them included as part of the interior package
