So, today I went on my first decent(as far as distance)trip in the GLC. 26 miles one way, 90% freeway driving.
First, I merged on to the freeway as usual. So I decided to give it just a little more punch than normal but, by no means flooring it. WOW, it was awesome!! Fastest my *** has moved in a long time.
Second, I got into the carpool lane, legally, then set the Distronic Plus system on. WOW again. Keeping pace with the crowd when necessary and keeping me in the lane. I could take my hands off the steering wheel for about 15 sec, then a warning came on to let me know to grab the wheel. Meanwhile it kept the GLC in it's lane and even in a gentle curve. I rested my hand at the bottom of the steering wheel and from there on it just drove itself, no warnings.
Worth the Money!!
