MB Companion App

Does the companion app work with the GLC? I says it's for C & S Class along with others with COMMAND but I can't figure out how to connect it to the car (tried USB in center console).

It does. I followed the directions (minimal as they were) and it connected to the car. I found Send2Benz in embrace didn't always find the addresses I was looking for, whereas Companion seems to do better.

Ah, I had to go under settings and enable "my vehicles". You'd think that would be on by default.

This is only for Apple watches right now, correct? Wish they'd make one for Android since I wear a Moto 360.

Thanks for the reminder...I have an Apple watch and haven't tried it with the watch yet, only used the iPhone app.
Just installed it - works great. Although I have to say, it has limited value. There's really not a lot of reason for me to know the mileage, gas level, tire pressure, etc when remote from the car. The 'find car' function could be potentially useful.
I notice in the app that it lists my car as "unknown". Maybe they haven't updated the app to include the GLC as a model within the app.

I was not able to find the directions to connect my iPhone via Companion App to the car. No option in the App either. Would you let me know? Thanks

From what I recall, I first already had my iPhone paired to the car. I downloaded the companion app and started it on the phone, allowing any access it prompted for, then went to car and started it. After a minute it asked if I want to grant access or something like that to the iPhone which I did. That was all it took.

Good app for what it does, hope you get connected.
