2025 E-Class All-Terrain wagon
I ended up getting a basic black rubber piece customized to fit our GLC's for only $20. Going with a blacked-out look so this better matches. Found on E-Bay had the standard double-sided 3M tape. Probably won't last more than couple years but looks good for now.

Brilliant. I tried a powerful magnet on mine and it is indeed stainless steel. I don't know about other vendors or even if this guys products will always be real stainless. But, mine is for sure. And it fits super nice.

Be Aware: the main eBay pic shows a polished chrome piece. Yet, two other pics show a brushed Stainless piece. The part I received is the brushed version. Which is fine with me.

kwhat effect does bestine solvent have on the paint and surface long term? I plan on keeping the car for a very long time.
do you like the brushed finish? The window trim and luggage rack are brushed aluminum but the rear three pointed star and GLC 300 are all polished? Your thoughts?

I'm looking for a clearcoat 3M type rear bumper protection as my preference wouldn't be to add any more chrome/stainless steel to the car. Has anyone come accross anyone selling a pre-cut template for the GLC? As I suspect my efforts might be a bit bodged!

I haven't seen a pre-cut piece but what I did was during application of Expel on the front of my GLC I asked the installer to place a piece on the top on the rear bumper. Protection, not visible...perfect. Goes well with the night package.

I decided to order the same one that cyber3d has. Looks pretty impressive, and after thinking it through agree that the brushed stainless is the better option (seller verified that's what they ship). I used the "Make Offer" feature in eBay and the seller accepted $US79. Should have it in 2-3 weeks (Taiwan) and I'll post the result.

How tight do the edges sit on the bumper
For the units without a rubber edge cover, how tight do the stainless steal edges sit against the bumper. My concern is that the corners of the lip that curls down over the edge of the bumper could result in clothing (or other items) could get caught under this edge and bend the corner.

Will it rust over time If it is not full stainless steel?
