Which tire pressure label do I follow?
New here. I did a search but no luck. I just purchased a GLC300 and there is a tire pressure label inside the drivers door and one on the fuel filler door. Both are completely different. The one inside the drivers door says Front 35 Rear 42. The one on the filler door says for normal load with my tire size 32 Front and Rear, and is even different for max load. That's a big difference especially on the rear. My service department is closed so I thought I'd check with the forum. Thanks in advance.

The higher pressures are there to preserve the max load capability of the vehicle. If you aren't towing or heavily loaded (4 people + luggage or worse), the 32 psi pressures are fine and will be more conducive to a nice ride and even tire wear.

Thanks ItalianJoe1 I've put them to 32 psi all around. After reading the owners manual the label in the door jam is for max load like you said. Tire pressures were 40 and 42 on delivery so I guess they keep them high on the lot so they don't flat spot. Thanks again!
