Hello,

My wife and I recently picked up a new GLC300 that my wife will mostly drive, although I'm sure I'll steal it occasionally

Anyway, when wiping down some finger prints on the shiny black partitions that are between the driver side front and rear window, I noticed it scratched it a little bit. Is there anyway to get these scratches out? Would the dealership be able to do something simple if I pointed it out to them?

I'm not sure what exactly they would do to fix it but, if you can prove it was some sort of defect I think they'd cover it under warranty. If you say it was human error, chances are, they might end up charging you.

Just checked ours and there are no scratches and it's been washed at least a dozen times between me and the dealer. Odds are it came that way and nobody noticed. This will be a good test to see have responsive your dealer will be to future issues. Don't waste any more time and get it back to them for a possible remedy. Will possibly have to be replaced.
I am assuming that you aren't wiping it down dry.

Shouldn't be hard to rectify this issue... Wouldn't be expensive either. I don't see why they wouldn't. Pre-delivery inspection, they routinely buff out scratches. It's common for stuff to be scratched during the freight and delivery process.

Thanks all! I will contact the dealer and see what they can do. They're very minor, but as a new owner, they are not something you want to see.
