Only Linden Wood Currently Available for New Orders?
Just submitted my 2017 order and was told that both the Burnt Walnut Wood and Black Ash Wood trim materials were on "back-order". Basically, the Japanese company that makes the trim hasn't produced any new stock in a couple of months.
SA asked if I would like to change to Linden Wood or face a longer build time. I went with the longer wait time... I want my Black Ash Wood!
Anyone else put in new orders lately and informed of the back-order on the two trims?

I was told burl walnut was not available when confirming my '17 GLC order a couple of days ago; since I don't care for the black ash so linden wood it will be it seems (unless the order book opens up before my build is locked in). I can live with this and certainly wouldn't delay my target early October delivery for this reason. That said I can't quite understand how MB's relationship with its suppliers permits a situation like this to happen.
