Is your GLC polar white by any chance?
Mine is white and I have noticed a few lines of what I have presumed to be oil running down from the hinges. I don't think I would have noticed the lines if the color was anything but white.
I didn't think much about it, just assumed that it was excess oil that dripped down during assembly. Final inspection or pre-delivery work should have caught it.

Pics? Are you talking about on the lower rocker panel below the door?
This happens on all cars, it's from dirt being washed out of the door jambs during rain or a carwash. It's not very noticeable except on white cars though, and with regular washing it will be much less noticeable.
