Is there launch control for GLC 250D?

), foot on brakes , accelerator max --- let go brakes, would that do ANYTHING useful in GLC 250 Diesel.I'm asking because I just read a review about GLA250(petrol) on caranddriver and they said the acceleration was much quicker using the " Launch Control". I did not know they had this on GLA250, I thought only AMGs got them.
So, before I destroy my wife's car transmission, if someone can confirm Launch control can work in it, and how exactly to activate it.

Whilst there is no specific launch control button on the GLC, you can set dynamic control to Sport+ . In this mode, the vehicle can rapidly take off in comparison to the other modes. Very useful if you need to cross highway traffic, etc.
