Change steering wheel airbag cover....

Could anyone tell me how the stock airbag cover comes off?
Do you have to remove the whole airbag unit, to change cover?
Or does it just snap on/off, without any special tools/tricks?

Like this

Thanx for any enlightening input...

It is the same process as the W205 c-class.

my internet is giving me issues but the link is in there. It is not difficult at all.

Thanx for taking time to reply.

Those guides were the first I looked at.
However, the answer to my question can't be found there.
It suggests that I remove the whole airbag unit, & not just the cover.
In the cover pictures off ebay, it seems to be "snap on", but I don't know.

It sure looks a breeze to remove it, but I reckon I'll just have to ask the mech dude.
To anyone who would contribute further in this matter, I'd be very grateful...

Oh, THE COVER ONLY.

In that case, it looks like it just attaches on. But I would still remove the airbag and then remove the cover. There are probably areas you can't get to with the air bag still on the wheel.

Yeah, you're probably right. Had been nice to just snap it off easily, though.
Guess it would've been smarter to post this question in the w205 section.
Thanx anyway, for your input.

Hey there!!!!
Did you ever figure out how to swap just the covers????
Can you PM me as I don't live in this forum, only the W205 forum...
