[QUOTE=Matteus GLC AMG;6995175]
Strictly Shell Super. Luckily in my area we are well served with Shell stations, and I was used to finding them because of our previous GL and my Golf R requiring that as well.

Interesting. I tried my M4 on both grades and could detect no difference whatsoever and hence stuck to the standard fuel thereafter and saved myself a few bob. You think it makes a big difference?

Can someone who has a 43 can give me some input on maintenance prices gas mileage and personal auto insurance is there a big difference from glc300? Reason asking ordered a GLC 300 coming in next eeek but 43 has caught my eye and debating now. Want to keep it long term and will be using it everyday and to go to my vacation home which is 2 hours away from where I live go every 2 weeks.
Turning in my TDI next week and GLC 300 coming in couple days later. Almost 50 never had something FAST

Mileage: The EPA rates the GLC43 at 18 city / 24 highway. Reviews suggest that this is accurate.
Personal auto insurance: You should talk to your insurance company. The GLC43 will definitely cost more to insure than the GLC300. How big the difference is will depend on your age, gender, driving record, how far you drive it, where you live, etc.

I can't speak to maintenance costs. A dealership should be able to tell you. Ask your dealer.

I'd have to look up the maintenance but my wife gets around 20 mpg city/highway combined. We pay around 700 for a 6 month policy. She's 30 with a clean record in Texas. As for the car...if you can afford it do it you won't be disappointed. I put it in sport + as soon as I get in and smile the entire time.

Thx. Looks like will be calling Insurance co. and MBZ service dept get and compare some prices with glc 300. I do know the 4 year prepaid maintenance is like a 200 difference so that's not bad. Dang want something vroom vroom but also gotta see long term too.
Decision, decisions. When your set on something always something else pops up.
Thx again

Had the date confirmed today to collect the 43, the 3rd March. It will be at the dealership by the end of Jan but my current lease deal runs until March and I'd like to get the new 17 plate.
Will be collecting from Robinsons in Peterborough. They would deliver to me but I'd prefer to have the full handover experience and will be a lovely drive home again. Now just the matter of another 2 and a bit months to wait....

Trade in makes no difference to me as I lease the car through my business. Main reason for waiting is my current car doesn't go back until March and don't really want to pay for 2 for a couple of months, and if it's that close to 1st March seems a shame not to get the new plates.... but perhaps that's just me
