2017 GLC 300 Coupe'

We just got our GLC 300 Coupe'. Love it. Black on Black. Anyone know if the windscreen or front windows have UV protection?

my understanding is that all windshields have UV protection. read this.

If so then why do some manufacturers specifically state UV protection. The dash and side door arms are the same temp, all very hot. If there was some kind of UV protection they would be different temps??

No. UV doesn't equal heat.

In the UK all the glass is marked as accoustic.

By law all cars have laminated glass windshields and, therefore, provide UV protection equivalent to SPF50. Tempered glass side windows absorb 60-65% of UV rays while acoustic side window glass -- a version of laminated glass -- like windshields, block nearly all (90+%) UVA and UVB rays.
