Cargo net inquiry
Hey there folks... I have one month til my GLC300 4 Matic arrives but the dealer still has not answered my question on whether the cargo net (attaches to roof/pillar behind the front seats or further back behind the rear seats) is available and included. My current GLK came with it and with two massive dogs, it's invaluable to prevent the dogs from flying forward through the windscreen.
I have had to hard brake a few time with the girls inside and it's a life saver as it flexes easily and is not rigid. If it does not come with it (there is no Canadian option to purchase it either) I may just keep the GLK one to see if it fits.

Hey diseldoc I just zoomed through all the photos posted and all the interior shots show the placement holes in both locations in most of the available shots. I wonder if this is included will all GLC's independent of packaged optioned out?

I checked my owners manual. There are two attachment places for cargo nets in the GLC. One behind the front seat b pillar and behind the rear seat. The car must come with the nets. I have never looked in my wife's car. They are probably in the rear compartment under the floor. Will take a look.

I have the cargo net, the version that folds in half for storage and can be placed behind the front or rear seats. It appears to be a fairly generic item very similar to the cargo net I had in my previous W164 ML.
Unfortunately, the nets fairly bulky top bar does not follow the roof profile in the GLC and I find it significantly blocks rear vision.

Just found out it is not available at all in Canada. I will need to find another product now that will pinch-hold against the door frame pillars, which will be less secure than Mercedes made option.

Not available online in Germany, Canada, USA, Mexico so far. I'll Check the UK next but today I dropped by the dealer and the GLC is missing the metal floor rings to attach the hooks to. So the point is moot now. Saw this option but is appears too large by 1" and this
seems to be OK in any vehicle but does not prevent them from trying to slide through the seats below the bars.

eBay has one left in the UK store claiming to be a 2015-2017 GLC specific net...sent off a message in hopes it is the right one.
