I am looking for a GLC 300 with dark interior that includes the Advanced Driver Assist Package. I live in Northern Virginia and having difficulty in finding many options. The issue most of the cars available are loaded with plenty other features I don't care for. For me, the Surround View is a must. I found one dealer who is willing to give me a 7% discount on the MSRP of $49,500 on 2018 GLC3004MATIC. The dealer doesn't have the car in his lot but is going to get it from another location. So, their claim is they have to pay transportation charge and hence not willing to discount further. I know people have got discounts up to 9 or 10%.

So, I am in big dilemma to decide if I should just accept the offer? The car is pre-wired for navigation so I have to purchase the Garmin SD card as well ($650).

 

If the car has Garmin than it cannot have the advance drivers assist package. It must have command. You can get a car with the park assist package with Garmin which will give you the surround view. I would look at the spec sheet carefully on the car. You might consider ordering the car and getting exactly what you want. 7% is an ok discount.

You do not have Advanced Driver Assist Package, just Advanced Parking Assist Package. You need to add Multimedia Package with COMAND to get Advanced Driver Assist Package. Why not special order the car to get exactly what you want without extras you do not want?

 

My bad got the package names confused. Unfortunately I don't have the time to wait for 2 months. Sounds like this may be the best offer I would get. Will call them up and accept the offer.

You can get the Garmin SD card on eBay - for $179 ea - I have purchased and installed 4/5 over the past few weeks with no problem:

After you install 1st time - you can pull and use SD reader and your PC to update to newest online version 8.1 for free.
