Anyone have an aftermarket trailer hitch?

GLC 300
Anyone have an aftermarket trailer hitch?
For my 2016 GLC300 (non-4Matic) without tow package, I want to install an aftermarket tow hitch. My dealership wants $3,200 for factory installation.

Any successful aftermarket installations here? Any cautionary tales? Any disaster stories? Warranty voids because of such installations?

Looks pretty simple. A shop could probably do it under $1K easily.

Well....
Many of the higher volume U-Haul stores are setup as "hitch centers" - no joke - and will install hitch + basic trailer wiring quite affordably.

The factory hitch package for GLC is smaller diameter hitch - aftermarket GLC hitch is standard full size hitch.

Adding a aftermarket hitch has no effect on MB new car warranty...

Well, I hope you are right. I just ordered a Draw-Tite hitch kit. My service guy doesn't seem to have a definitive answer!
