Transmission software update
Had my '16 GLC in today for the fuse recall. Apparently there is a recent automatic transmission software update as well. The service writer said there was a "software update" that was due as well and they completed it. The receipt stated it was the AT software.
From day 1 I've noticed that when I drive around a corner and go to press on the accelerator, the car hesitates. It always seemed like a software programming thing to me. I haven't had a chance to check to see if the update cured this. But I will post on here when I notice (while driving).

Mine 2015/10 manufactured GLC. Had the software updated on last service visit ( updated headlamp software, audio20 software and transmission software).
i noticed the following ,
1. Gliding mode (E mode) was disabled on downhill, the shift from gliding mode back to normal was a bit rougher
2. I had problem when about to stop before roundabout then accelerate, car hesitate to move every now and then, i tried to replicate the behaviour but could not( i think when i was about 20km/h at 2nd gear and then accelerates the problem will happen). after software upgrade, the issue seems to be solved?! It did not happen again after good 1 month and I hope the problem will be solved cos it was quite dangerous and disturbing

I've just come across this thread, I've had the exact same issue, throttle hesitation at low speed when going over speed bumps or at slow, tight corners. Was very annoying. My July 2017 build GLC (gas/petrol) had its first 'A' service 6 weeks ago, they updated the transmission and engine control software and so far it seems much better. I have noticed it a few times, but nowhere as bad as it was before. Wondering if you guys have seen an improvement? Guess the car is as good as its software
Cheers

I asked what kind of update to adaptive headlight and transmission ?! The MB tech said no idea and the update just popped from their company database. I hope the updates will solve problem with headlight ( LHS light on when car parked for unknown reason) and poor response on slow speed ( my experience was on 2nd gear less then 20 km/hr and need to accelerate)

Ok, I stole the car from my wife and found the transmission update has really improved the aforementioned shifting/hesitation issue. I consider it fixed and no longer a problem. Well done Mercedes-Benz engineering!
Not sure of the new software update version or where to find it. It was not listed on the dealer receipt.

Yes...the gearbox does in fact 'learn' your driving style. This is what I referred to in my earlier post.
