Eco mode

I notice when in eco mode on highway and let of the gas pedal rpm will drop and the d on the cluster willl turn from d7 or d8 or wherever it shows and turns into a green d. Does this mean the vehicle is coasting in neutral?

Instead, I get a little blue sail boat appear in the top left of the multifunction display when the car goes into 'saling mode'

Those with air suspension will notice that the suspension lowers when in eco mode.

That's so cool! I wish I had the sailboat

Yes it turns green to indicate you're coasting or "gliding." You can use the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to choose Trip and then change the center display to the 'consumption' screen, and you'll see that it says "Gliding Mode" when this is happening. It's defeated if you're going down a long and/or steep hill and the vehicle picks up too much speed. Engine braking will kick in. The mode is also defeated if you touch the brake pedal.
