Replaced wheel center caps

I just replaced my blue laurel center caps with the black cap. I found a set on ebay and am very pleased with the price ($11) and quality. The package indicated original Mercedes Benz part, but it was shipped from China. The new cap gives the 2017 the look of a 2018.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to remove the hood badge.

nice!
mine came black from the factory and i have a 2017. i wonder if it depends on the rim.
how did you get them out?
what are you going to put in place of the hood badge? Stand up star would look really nice...

They seemed to have made the switch to black mid-year 2017 on all models. I think the hood badge needs to be popped off from the top and I am worried about marring the paint.

Next I think I'll change my door speaker covers.
