Occasional music playback problem

I have several thousand MP3 tracks on a 128Gb SD card and playback is generally excellent. However, very occasionally, a track is abruptly ended, well before completion and the media player starts to play the next track in the folder. If I “rewind” back to the start of the interrupted track, it then plays to completion as expected. Anyone had a similar problem. Could it be a software issue?

I tried a 128GB card, and the GLC only seemed to recognise the first 64GB.

This could be specific to the type and manufacturer of the card.
As a general SD card observation, the larger the card size, the more likely to have compatibility issues with any particular device.
I have not tried other cards since, just went back to the 64GB card.
If anybody reading this has had total success with a 128GB card or larger, would appreciate you posting the details of the card.Cards size, Brand/model, format type (FAT, exFat .....)

For cards larger than 64GB, you have to create a directory called "Music", and put your music in there. In that case it sees up to 50.000 files. From the COMAND manual:

The multimedia system supports data carriers with up to 50,000 files. In the case of a data carrier with more than 64 GB of stored data, only files in folders with the following names are supported: Music, Pictures, Video.
