Only 15 Cars Earn 2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Rating

Just 15 new vehicles meet the increased requirements of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and have earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating, the safety group reported Thursday.
The 2018 model year cars that earned the coveted ranking, Top Safety Pick+, are the BMW 5 Series, Kia Forte (sedan), Genesis G80, Genesis G90, Hyundai Santa Fe, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, Lincoln Continental, Kia Soul, Mercedes-Benz E-Class (sedan), Mercedes-Benz GLC, Subaru Impreza, Subaru Legacy, Subaru Outback, Subaru WRX, and Toyota Camry.

Obviously, it's nice to see the GLC's made the list.
I am also surprised to see many Korean cars are on that list as well.
