To me, the best part of getting this done was the description on the invoice for this recall item. Though I am in USA, the description was in German.
RECALL 20171200115, HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT
CAUSE:
022018 ARBEITEN; ELEKTRISCHE SICHERUNG AN STARTERVORSCHALTRELAIS NACHTRAEGLICH EINBAUEN VERR. - NR.: 15 900 38, CODE: 17WMB08 0.50

I just noticed this AFTER I got home and the service dept was closing up early today due to limited appts and service availability after our snowfall yesterday.
OK, so, I am competent in German and immediately recognized that the German text exactly describes the work that was done for the earlier recall 17V114 (An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will retrofit a fuse on the starting current limiter on the affected vehicles). I think I'll call up the service dept to verify what they did, but I am sure that they will not understand the German text in this service item from the invoice. I am not a mechanic, let alone a Mercedes mechanic, but I don't quite see the relationship between these items or why the work done for recall 17V114 shows up in the service notes for the headlight adjustment recall.

I'll be darned, after getting the vehicle back and driving at night, discovered there was noticeable improvement. At least in my case...valid recall.
