Cargo nets

OK guys here’s one for you.

the cargo net we are supposed to use is 253-860-09-00 which covers the flip up section covering the charger only.

I want to use
213 860 29 01 which covers the entire trunk and is probably for a different model. But since we have the rings to use it, what’s the harm right?

Actual GLC350 cargo net.

C class net that used the rings

Has anyone have experience with either?

It does not have a “charge mode” as one of the drive modes.
Actually for the 2020 model year, MB had decided to rename some of the drive modes on the GLC350E. Now we have: Individual, Sport, Comfort, Electric, Battery Level and Eco.
Selecting "Battery Level" is basically the same as "Charge Mode". You can watch the dial on the dashboard as you brake or slow down on a downhill, the battery charge indicator shows some regeneration taking place. I have not seen the battery level rise above 11% from near empty over a long trip.

I don’t have the battery or electric driving modes. I have individual, sport plus, sport, comfort and eco

I have have hybrid, Eco mode, eco save and charge on the battery modes

if I drive in “eco save” mode, I can get to regenerate to 12 miles on my 2019. it’s usually sits right at 11 all the time.

If I put it into “charge” mode, it will always kick off from charge mode at 11.

it’s much more confusing than it needs to be. I am curious how the 2020s deal with it

but I am focused on the 2024’s, which should have a 100 mile battery. That would be perfect. 15 miles is bull****.

Hybrid Battery System

Hey there,

Which type of fluid is used for the battery system? I saw a pink fluid, searched everywhere for it but couldn’t find the name or brand. Please include photo if possible.…TIA!

I have a new question. Can I use a 2020 hybrid battery in my 2019 for extended range or would it confuse the ECU?

Damn AC compressor went out 42 days out of warranty

Bought the SUV 5/22 with 21k miles. Warranty ran out 6/23 By 8/23 the AC compressor had contaminated oil in the system.

$5600.

I complained enough to get it to $4000 but this is so not fair. Serves me right for not driving it?

My 2019 has CarPlay. Every once in a while it looks like the screen dropped a little acid, but I reboot my phone & everything is fine.

Ok....I'll ask a weird question.

Can I replace the SAT unit plug and play with a used one bought online... I fried mine by spilling ablate 12 oz of water in the trunk. I find the $3400 quote from the dealer almost offensive.

Tire changing tool?

As of last night, after a long lease negotiation I am now driving a 2026 GLC 350e4. I returned home and while placing some items in the trunk I noticed what appears to be some missing tire tools.
Didn't notice this at dealership but there was only one tool for changing tires unless I am missing something. The red circle is the tool, and the blue is a space for what ??

I believe it's the space for a warning triangle, required in some Euro countries.
The other looks like a tow hook (eye).

Your right that is a tow hook. I'll ask tomorrow at the dealership but my daughter who lives in Spain and her girlfriend in Belgium are required to carry a triangle and reflective ware.

Another question. I have the car charging in the garage with the garage door closed. The temperature today is about 80 F in the garage. I walked past the door to the garage from inside the house an heard a noise. Investigating it is the fan. Guess this is normal.
