You are right. That sucks. To me the screen upgrade was not worth $2200 anyway, and I hate that touch pad. The iDrive style dial is enough. 7 inch vs 8.4. meh I will stick with 7 inch. I just want to get back to basics. One of the reasons I am buying a GLC is due to the real analogue gauges. I absolutely hate those digital gauges. Hate them with a passion. Ugly as sin. I like the way GLC is right now, one screen flanked by two analogue gauges. A single screen is the cheap way and I would expect to pay less for such feature.

I have ordered same and i will get it on June.
I would like to ask you a question. I have chosen the extra "Air Body Control (ABC)" which i think it improves the suspension feeling, however the main reason i chose this option was the ability to increase the ground clearance when driving off-road (50mm). i now realized that the GLC350e 4 Mattic is the only GLC model which does not have the off-road package and if i get this right, adjustment of the ground clearance is not available for off-road driving.
Could you please let me know wether your GLC is equipped with ABC or not and if yes is ground clearance adjustment available?
Thanks a lot!!!

Hi-
I've been planning to get a GLE 550e, but the GLC 350e is potentially on the table and yours looks great! 1) are you still happy overall? 2) how is the brake feel...any significant weirdness? 3) what kind of city/highway/overall fuel economy are you getting?
Thanks!
-Mike

Mercedes Benz GLC 350e plug-in hybrid
Vibrating brakes when cold and wet
Hi,
just checking here if anyone has experienced on the GLC 350e a brake judder or vibration, especially during the first 1-2 brake applications when the car is still cold and/or wet? I have had the brakes checked at the dealership but they found nothing wrong. My car has been driven only 16000 km since new (May 2017). But this brake shaking has been present most of that time. I suspect this problem has something to do with the transfer between regenerative braking and regular hydraulic braking. I understand that the car is programmed to make a test of the braking system during the first 1-2 brake application each time it starts. Any comments?

I love that ultra cheap charger for the 12V battery. Apparently the dealership is not aware of the MB charger requirements starting with MY2015. Or maybe they just don't care Either way, their credibility has the aerodynamics of a flying rock.

Thanks for opening this thread up for any questions. What type of gas mileage (combined driving) do you get without charging? What is the vehicle range without refueling without charging? Do you use the Charge function sometimes (where you can use the engine to charge the hybrid battery)? I'm curious how the vehicle operates as a hybrid without plug-in charging. Thanks.

1) Love the car
2) feels good but he regenerative braking is not as strong as full EVs though, overall the engineered it to feel like any other breaking system
3)during summer i was averaging 7L/100KM now in winter im getting closer to 10L/100KM my comute is 60%hwy and 40% City aproximately and 60 KMs one way

Thanks!
Hello, thanks for the fuel consumption numbers! I ordered a 2019 to lease, and I am hoping that it arrives by the end of March. I will post the fuel consumption numbers once I have put some miles on it.

Depends on how you drive, especially anticipating stops, traffic lights, etc...

Any idea what the rough range in town driving with electric only? I know the battery isn't large but interested to know what your thoughts are on that range. Thinking of that question, can you set it to electric only? or is it automatic.
Thanks
Thanks

There are different settings that you can choose from: hybrid (which switches between E and gas automatically), E-mode only (so yes, electric only, which I use for commuting to work), Save, and a Charge mode.
