MOE vs Run Flat
I had seen the term MOE, but never really knew what it exactly meant. I have also seen it use interchangeably with "Run Flat". Found this on the Tire Rack website and though it was interesting info,

This situation is confusing as its been written an MOE tire does not meet the engineering criteria of a run flat tire. If this is the case, how is it the tires on my GLC contain both terms? My guess is, there is a difference in construction between an MOE tire and a run flat tire, however, that difference is so slight as to be insignificant. Therefore, it seems possible an MOE tire and a run flat tire could be considered interchangeable.

The Pirelli Verde all season tires that came on my GLC have embossed on the sidewall both terms...MOE and run flat.
