GLC 300 door detents

Detents in door hinges barely hold doors in open position. Can this be adjusted for a stronger "hold" ?

There are a couple of other threads about this that you may want to search for. The answer is Yes the detents are weak and barely hold the door open on inclines and Yes your dealer can install stronger springs.

Not really pertinent to your question.....but my hinges have become 'noisy' on opening and closing the door. Asked the dealer to have a look and maybe oil etc. They say the hinges cannot be oiled and have ordered new ones.
