Audio 20 to COMAND
Hello all,
I have a 2018 GLC300 with and audio 2” headunit prewired for GPS. I want to switch to the COMAND headunit and can imagine it’s pricey but the local dealership to me says it cannot be done. Can anyone definitively confirm whether this can or can not be accomplished?

I had ordered the COMAND system, but a mistake at the factory in Finland resulted in it being left out. I asked the dealership if they could put in the COMAND system after my GLC arrived, but they said it was impossible. So I got the same answer that you received.

I did take delivery. My car was a lease and I received a good discount off of the monthly lease to compensate. If I wanted to wait for a new car, I would have had to wait for the next year's model and the lease cost would have increased. The dealer also gave me the Garmin Map Pilot program for free. The Garmin has been fine for my limited navigation needs. The only hassle for me is that you cannot use voice commands for phone calls.
