Of course I agree that the DOG is the authority and the on-line configurator often isn't 100%...
I noticed a few minor problems when I ordered. Like the AMG/Night package does not show the proper elements in the preview.
However, someone recently changed the configurator to introduce this new error. I think it's a big problem in the sense that someone creating a build could be off by thousands of dollars on the MSRP (too low). That's not good for customer satisfaction.
Many businesses (like Tesla) handle their orders entirely on-line. MB does not, but I hardly think its unreasonable to expect reasonable accuracy in today's age.
We will see how long it takes for them to fix this...or if they fix it.
