GLC 300
Loud clank at engine start
I have a 2018 GLC 300 with 17k miles. At about 8k miles, I started hearing a somewhat loud clank simultaneous with engine turn over at cold start. What could this be?

I have the same noise.. but won`t define it as loud

Do you know what it is? I finally got the noise on camera so I can take it to the dealer and hopefully they can tell me if it normal or not.

it's not a loud clunk but I got a click from the steering column adjustment when I hit the start button.

2018 GLC 300 4Matic
I just heard this pop-like sound after a cold start over the weekend. I don't know how long this has been happening since I use the remote start 99.9% of the time before leaving the house. The app was undergoing maintenance so I had to perform a cold start manually and I heard that sound. The engine ran fine while driving and the CEL did not come on. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Can you share the vid or sound? Want to compare. I recently bought 2018 GLC and at the cold start I hearing relatively loud metal clunks / clicks for the first 5-10 seconds, sound more like stretch chain. Car has only 7K miles on it.
