interior lighting gets dimmer at night
While driving from daytime to dusk, the headlights will go on and at the same time, the instrument cluster gets dimmer. I had the car too the dealer who replaced the instrument cluster, however, the instrument cluster continues to get dimmer at night. Any help?

Normal operation. Cluster lights automatically dim as darkness approaches so as to not blind the driver.

Try setting the illumination level (knob near headlight switch) for both situations - headlights on at night and normal during the day. It's likely divided with two settings. Frankly if I had my daytime (full bright) on at night, I wouldn't see the road! In addition, all recent MB cars (most cars in fact) have an ambient light sensor somewhere. In the GLA it was a dot in the COMAND display. Not sure on GLC where that is.
