Have you ever drained the engine oil from your GLC?
and how to check the level: must we do it hot or cold engine

Yes I have drained it and changed the oil filter. Just remove the bottom cover, 6 or 8 screws and the drain plug is right there. Simple. The oil filter is also simple. Hot or cold won't make that big of a difference just let the engine oil drain for a minute or two before checking it.

If you are going to DYI your oil changes you might want to consider one of these.
This allows you to remove the oil thru the dipstick tube. Yes it does get all the oil and is the device MB shops were using at one time. The engines are actually designed to allow use of this type of system.

je ne dois pas le faire par aspiration merci
je pensais que le bouchon de vidange avait été retiré!
pour le filtre que j'ai l'outil MB que j'utilise pour mon G-Class
