Weel Protection Worth It?
Got a 2019 GLC 300 4matic (2nd in 2 years, first one was greatly damaged by someone turning into me). I was offered a tire and wheel protection for $2800 for 6 yr/unlimited miles for: "repair or replace your tires and wheels if your vehicle's tires are damaged by a road hazard". I know that the run flat tires are expensive. I had the tire/ wheel protection on 2 Audi's and used it minimally, but also had regular tires that could be patched. Thanks for any help.

Your dealer. If any good will patch for free. Your tires will wear out quicker than you could use them and rims are not as prone to cracking anymore.
Youre better off getting the maintenance package for that money, and buy it after your first service...or buying the extended limited warranty.

Thank you. I figured as much. I got the extended warranty and they gave me the 4 yr/40,000 maintenance since the repair of my other car has been indefinite (over 4 months) due to a backordered air bag.

Can't remember what I paid for wheel/tire policy but it was considerably less. I took it simply because of the price of the wheels (tires are really not that expensive) and the possibility that NJ potholes could easy destroy a wheel (or 4)
