GLC Cost to Own
Hello All,
New to forum. I rented a GLC for a week for a long drive and after similar experiences with the Q5, QX60, Rogue, X3, and CRV, I can say it is one of the best all around vehicles I've ever driven (not to be taken lightly as I rent often). I am seriously considering owning one.
Would any current owners be so kind as to provide 3, 4 or 5 year cost to own estimates of your GLC 300s. I am only looking for maintenance and repair costs, as purchase costs and gas are a function of other aspects.
Total figures is fine as well, as opposed to itemized. The thought is I just want to have a reserve saved for repairs and the total of those items will let me know how much is necessary. Any insight is most appreciated!

One way to get a fix on these costs is to buy a prepaid service contract and an extended warranty from MB. I did this with my '17 GLC because I ordered it with lots of electronics (mainly safety) and air suspension, and I figured that while this might not save me any money the insurance component was likely to be worth it. Check in the forum for where you can get a good deal on these; any dealer can sell and they will discount. The best deal comes if you buy within the early months of ownership. I should have added that since delivery in10/16 and over 16,350 miles my only none covered costs have been for a tire rotation done at 10,000 miles and a tire plug/repair (OEM Continental run flat) done by DC area's best tire shop--Radial Tire--for free (and they hadn't sold the tires, of course)!
