Headroom with sunroof

Can any member help me establish how much headroom is lost by including a sunroof?
I am trading my 2016 250d for a 2020 300d.
My current car does not have a sunroof while the new model I am looking at ordering has.
I cannot find a car with a sunroof to sit in and am worried about ordering 'blind'.
Can anyone help me please?

Just measured about 103 cm from the roof down to the seat cushion

Hope this helps!

That's brilliant...really appreciate your help.

Any idea what position the seat is in at that ie fully raised or fully lowered?

Also... is there any additional noise issues with sunroof and is there a blind that can be closed on interior?

Any possibility you could measure from a fixed point on centre armrest ie button for opening storage in armrest?

I'm measuring 106cm in mine so seems only about 3cm loss of headroom.

At 6 feet 5 inches I'm understandably a little wary of ordering without testing!

Thumbs up

Yes, there is some noise, because only windshield is acoustic glass. Complained to the dealer, we went on a short test drive, explanation was side mirror creates the wind noise.... which we know and thats why they should replace the window with acoustic glass ...
However, the wind noise is not too bad and left it as is for now. There are many threads on this forum (both W203 and W253)
Actually, experienced the same issue with C300 few years back. Window was replaced and this lowered the wind noise, but did not eliminate...

About 76 cm from the armrest, hope there is enough space for you to enjoy the new car.
BTW, the good news is German TÜV published reliability results and GLC comes as the winner - only about 2% of cars had issues.
