I live in the NY area and have followed the posts that describe various methods for installing a dashcam and do not want to do the work myself.
Im looking for recommendations on an established shop that has handled the GLC before. I’m also concerned about voiding my warranty.

I'll be installing dashcam on my new GLE when it arrives (didn't install one on my current GLC but thought of it). I would honestly spend a little more and have your dealer install it. Why worry about warranty issues just to save $100, if even that?

Dealers will not modify a car under warranty for a customer supplied dashcam or probably any electronic device. If yours will please let me know who to contact.
In the existing threads for dashcam installations there’s some good info on connecting to power supply from the mirror assembly that provides the proper disconnect that avoids battery drain. All that is good for someone with the willingness and skill, but I’d rather not start taking my almost new car apart and risk mistakes and complications. I prefer to pay an expert to do the job and stand behind it if anything goes wrong.

Never heard that and thanks for the info. I just spoke with one of the service writers at MB Nanuet who just said standard hourly charges would apply to installing. Let us know if you contact them and they will do the work.

I bought my dashcam at Best Buy and they installed it for me for around $65. They did a find job, no complaints.

bad habit

Check my post, I self-installed in an GLE and it was very easy once I found out which wires to use.
I would imagine the wiring isn't much different on the GLC.
This is a switched wire setup so it shuts off shortly after engine shutoff.
