2020 GLC Reliability
I had been reading a few threads, will link them below, but have been noticing a not so great trend as for the 2020 MY on the GLC. I don't know whether this is because it is the first year of the cycle, or whether they are all lemons. A few users have started threads noticing that there has been a bug, mainly in the AC system, and the dealer does nothing about this. Have not seen many issues for 2019. Correct me if any of the above info is wrong.

Why are these problems coming on within a year of ownership? Not experienced any of these on my 2019.

What you need to remember is that the vast majority of people only come on these websites when they have an issue /problem and therefore the stats are skewed as such.

Only issue I have is that ME on the app screen shows that I have an account ID but the My Services says no service available. Was issued a CMS# Aug 13. As of Friday they are still working on a solution.

Not lemons, but minor glitches. MBUX is new in this platform, so small glitches that should easily be remedied could be expected -- the real question is whether MB will fix them...
I have only experienced the cold climate control issue, which I just commented on in that thread -- hadn't seen it before. That and some circuitous directions from the navigation system that hopefully got fixed by the latest map update. SInce it's semi-random, I've not been able to 100% replicate the issue.

I actually bought the 2020 GLC in 8/19 and it's been great at 10k miles. No serious issues except for the MB mobile app and remote start problems. The fix was to charge the battery and all issues went away. This was due to sitting in the car for an hour lunch 5 days a week. I did notice the fan noise issue from the MBUX system and it was two or three times during the hottest days of the summer. I have a feeling that a tiny fan is in the display assembly with the sun pointing directly at the black plastic. It goes away once the cabin cooled down. Brought up a few UI quirks with self-parking during a dealer oil change and they found software updates which are good. I hope future updates are OTA like Tesla after the warranty is over

2024 GLE, 2022 GLC , 2022 GLC
Have had 4 GLCs . 2017, 2018, and 2 2022. No real problem with any of them. Each have had recalls, however, I don’t consider that an issue. As a matter of fact I think of a recall as something that may help me avoid a problem.
