GLC Class (X253) Produced 2016-2022

2020 glc63s coupe or 2018 gle63scoupe?

returned cls63s; no car atm
2020 glc63s coupe or 2018 gle63scoupe?

Hi guys im between these 2 cars buying cpo, which would you pick? Sorry I’m not sure where to post this.

2020 glc63s coupe -less than 5k miles

or 2018 gle63scoupe-less than 20k miles

also does anyone know if the 2020glc63s coupe has a cloth headliner or alcantarra?

I think it's cloth. Guessing that you are an enthusiast, I would pick either A) GLC63s SUV or B) A C63 or 63s coupe.
The Coupe version of the GLE looks like a bloated hippopotamus. The GLC for sure looks better, is faster, has a lower center of gravity, is lighter, and gets better fuel economy. The SUV version looks even better than the coupe, and ticks all the boxes except for lower center of gravity. But still, it's absolutely pointless. You can't do anything with the awesome biturbo V8, and you can't exactly track either car. So for me, the C63 would be the choice. That you can take to a track, drive ridiculously fast, and have some fun. Better than that would be a W204 C63 used. Naturally aspirated, 6.2L V8, timeless looks, and a rear end that flies around. Such an awesome car, which you could cash in for under 30 grand US. Has some modern tech, RWD. Wish I had one, when I bought an E90 M3 instead. Drove the C63 and immediately regretted my decision. Didn't get one, but you could enjoy it!

I want a c63s but I need awd, as I live in New York and it would be a better decision for me. I am also thinking about getting an x6 m but I am much less Concious/aware of the m line and bmw as a brand

If you need AWD (I'm probably gonna get killed by all the MB guys here) would reccomend an Audi RS6*. I'm a BMW guy, and I know a lot about that X6. That X6 in M50i xDrive spec costs less than the M or the comp badged versions, has AWD, and almost the same 4.4L twin turbo V8. You honestly don't need all 617 hrsprs and if you did, you can't really use all of them. The RS6 I'm reccomending is either A) the 2020/21 Sportback, which has a hatchback like an SUV and is hence more parctical, B) the 2020/21 Coupe, which adds some more fun, or C), the best of the bunch, a naturally aspirated, screaming, 4.2L, V8, AWD, RS5 from around 2013. Fun car. The X6, I mean, seems too much of a thing you can't take to a track and have fun, but you also can never really reach it's limits. 3 shifts and you're well beyond the speed limit. If you're particular on a Benz, the C43 Sedan/Coupe/Cabrio seem solid, sure, they lose 2 cylinders and a cool plaque compared to the 63s, but gain AWD, and still sound wonderful. My friend, however, has said the ride can be a little bit stiff, so on harsh roads, it may not be your choice. Then assuming you really are a car person is a 3rd option. Buy a slightly used GLC300 4Matic with your favorite options as your daily/winter driver, and then buy a used BMW M2/M240i for your fun days and track days, and it's a win-win for similar price as buying a GLC63 coupe new, or less!
Here's how I would split the money:
Around $27,500 - $35,000: Buy a 2018 GLC with AWD.
Around $30,000 - Buy a 2017 BMW M240i (which by the way you can get with AWD) with the (hopefully) LSD and 6 sp. manual.
Worst case: around 65,000: You get both the cars.
Best case: around $57,500 : you get both the cars.
