Your Burmester Settings (13 speakers, 9-channel DSP amplifier with 590 W )
Curious about the settings forum members who have the Burmester 13 speaker, and 9 channel digital signal processor with 590 watts of output power.
You can adjust bass, mid and treble, use an equalizer, fader, set up sound focus and sound profile (select Pure or Surround mode).
Users can select a position for the sound focus or choose All Seats.
My basic settings on GLC 300 SUV 4Matic:
Tweaked mid and treble settings to +2.
Selected Surround sound profile instead of Pure
Burmester sound focus set to front seats instead of all seats.
Sounded punchier with clearer bass after I made some adjustments. I used Tidal with HiFi subscription, Master - to check sound quality and make adjustments. Also used Apple Music and SiriusXM to hear any differences. Also played digital tracks from a thumbdrive.
For me the selections that made the most difference were choosing Surround as the sound profile, and changing focus set to front seats (usually alone when driving).
Post your own settings or advice.

I have bass up to max, mid to 4 and treble to 5. Surround is on, and audio focus one step to the rear (-2 I believe).

For those that have all their bass, mid, treb settings greater than zero, have you tried normalizing them and just turning up the volume? For example, Bass = 3, Mid = 2, and Treb = 4. Change the settings to Bass = 1, Mid = 0, and Treb = 2.
This assumes symmetrical filtering which is the way I have designed them, but it will give you more dynamic range, lower the noise floor, and reduce distortion in theory.

Thanks! I’ll give it a try. I’m no audiophile, so to me, it was just what sounded about right.

I' m no audiophile, i got the burmester only because it matched the aluminum on my doors. Definitely would recommend. Very rich quality of sound.
