Brake Torque Specs

Anyone have a link to 2016 GLC300 torque specs for brake calipers, wheel discs, and such? Heck, if you had a list of common torque specs for the entire car, all the better! Thanks!

GLC Rear Caliper torque specs

I've still not been able to find the right torque values for the rear brake caliper pins for a GLC300. I'd appreciate the values if anyone has them.

Brake caliper torque (and procedure)

Thank you, Dan D., for the information I needed. As this is the first time I'm replacing the pads on this vehicle, knowing that the bolts are to be tightened in two stages is particularly valuable. Thanks again.

hi Dan, thanks for the doc. Any idea what stage 2 45 degrees actually means?

After torque value is reached, turn 45 degree.
Stage 2 is actually a step 2 ))

Does that mean that they are single use bolts?

they are not. you just torque to spec first, and then you do another wrench rotation to 45 degrees. In fact, I see many people just tight them manually, you do not need a lot of force at all.

Just did my rear pads, going to do front pads after lunch. Was not bad at all but I did watch a few YT videos like 3 times

I went with Power Stop Z23 brake pads - carbon ceramic, I had them on my V8 Dodge Charger Scat Pack and they were awesome. Reduced brake dust by a lot, silent and I did not notice any change in braking power on my Charger and I do have a pretty heavy foot

You also need 2 brake pad wear sensors (one per axle, passenger side) - Power Stop also have them.

Got mine from Amazon mostly because I needed them ASAP but RockAuto has a good price too.

here is some useful links:https://mbworld.org/forums/glc-class...s-message.html

(not torx but hex!)
