mirror defrosting and rear foglight
All,
Looking at the PDF user manual, I do not see a way to defrost the side mirrors. Is this not an option in the GLC? Also, there is a button on the headlight switch and the manual says it is for the rear fog light? Is this for US cars?

For MY 18, the fog light is.one separate bright light on the left(I think) side only. When I took mine in for its first A service I mentioned that one fog light was out. I was informed that there was only one back there. Couldn’t tell you about mirror defogger.

On my 2018 GLC43 the side mirror defogger works in conjunction with the rear window defogger - when the rear defogger is on the side mirrors also defog.
From the manual..."the rear fog lamp improves visibility of your vehicle for the traffic behind in the event of thick fog". It is a single light on the driver's side which is incorporated into the rear light (I think it may be the turn signal light that turns on bright when you switch on the fog light). I believe that this functionality is typical of many German vehicles.
