We are receiving texts and notifications on our screen but no audible/sound alerts. What are we doing wrong? Want to hear a tone when a new text comes in.

I have the same issue and find it to be annoying to not have any settings to fix it that I have found yet. Of course we shouldn't be distracted with text messages while driving but it would be nice if Mercedes followed suit with nearly all other vehicle manufacturers and provided notification settings.
