2-1 rough downshift

On a 2017 I had a phenomenon in a 2017 where if i had foot off the accelerator slowing down then hit the accelerator if I had to speed up it would get rough and sometimes even start bucking like it didn't know what gear it wanted to choose. Dealer did a software update that solved the problem for me.

Update 3:
Dealer says the transmission fluid was low by 1mm which fixed it. Transmission still shifts down to 1st in "C". Tech says the transmission should shift to 1st in "C". I still do not agree.
Had a hard downshift to 1st already.

Mine acts somewhat similar to yours only when in sport. Because it downshifts to first. In comfort no issues. If we had different years I may figure they changed their programming. But I also have a 2018 GLC300 2wd and just like every other Mercedes I have owned including my current S550....comfort starts in 2nd. Something isnt correct.

Update 4: The transmission simply reverted back to how it normally runs, hard downshift from 2 to 1 in "C". Unfortunately the next closest dealer is over 100 miles away.
