Yes it might look good with the right colors I guess.
But what I meant to say was, dont you need somebody to produce tinted lamps. ?
I am not sure anybody does these days.
You don't need tinted lenses - a good tint shop can apply tint to inside of lens covers slightly darkening it. I have an Iridium Silver GLC 300 SUV with Silk Beige MB Tex (porcelain headliner) interior. I have black front & rear splash guards so trying to give it a more refined look.
But this way the amount of light would be less. I was thinking that they needed to design the lamp, so it would give as much light as normal even when darker looking.
Merely tinting the lamps may be fine for looks, but dont you compromise safety ?
Tinting reduces the light transmission of the lenses, and so the lights appear less bright, harder to see, especially in bad weather, such as a snowstorm. So yes, it does compromise safety. It won't look refined with an 18-wheeler stuck in the back.
