Greetings, in the US, specifically CA. they sell/lease the GLC300 4M without a spare -ridiculous! The car is spec for US 2020 GLC300 4Matic. I searched the forums and there's a LOT of info but nothing as far as I could see for the 4Matic. Any help would be great. Planning a road trip and want to have a spare for safety. Thank you.

GLE spare and jack, correct lug bolts...done. GLK spare and GLE jack, correct lug bolts...done. Slime kit w/ compressor, and a plug kit and your all covered. Type in spare tire in search bar and read on. This is beat to death.

Lots recorded here, in UK and AUST.
check rear of you printed manual, or the online one, usually more details.
Local MB dealer, in parts dept, will look up on system what fits and cost based on your VIN.
Several sellers on eBay sell non OEM kits with jack, etc
if you have AMG pack with bigger front brakes, check too.
know your rim and tyre size as spare may vary based on 18” or 20” tyre and rim size.

The spare tire kit is a $200 option which I ordered with may 2020 GLC300 4M. There is enough room to fit a full size rim/spare which I would have done seeing that they give you a temporary donut spare.

It is still a shock to the new owner when they discover there is no spare tire but only a goop kit with a cheapy air compressor which won't do you a bit of good when you're stranded in the middle of the desert
with a sidewall blowout. So much for all that nice extra storage space where a spare tire belongs.

I ordered a fifth tire and rim from the dealer when i leased my E300 sedan. I kept it in my E300 trunk. Didn't need it for three of the four years. During the fourth year I had a blow out on a RF and was able to quickly change the tire. Got to the hospital 12 minutes after the original ETA. Used the same tire and rim on my 2021 GLC as a spare after getting a flat tire 1000 miles into a 2021 tire. I have less room in my trunk, but an enormous amount of piece of mind. The bottom line.

UPDATE: called the dealer parts and said there’s no such part for spare and kit. I could order a full size tire and rim and it’s $1000.00.
Does someone have the part number? The parts guy said if I can provide that he’d look into it.
Anyone have the number?

Go to discount tire or tire rack. You could get a spare rim and tire for $350

what are your rim and tire sizing ? I’ll see what we have in Oz, you may be able to buy locally if I source a part number for you.

@Teckno , wow I have not replied to this in over a year. Sorry about that Tekno. Quick update. I purchased from Modern Spare here in the US, for my 2020 GLC300 4Matic. The whole kit plus a $20 discount because I asked with tax was ~$450. KUMHO tire, nice quality on the jack and tools as well. Now I just have to modify the insert a bit.
