Service B include Road test / Pothole Special
My 2017 GLC is making a bit of noise and the ride is bumpy recently. The car is a Certified vehicle and under CPO Warranty with about 28 k mileage and last serviced in Oct 2020. I am not sure of the reason and upon calling the dealer they suggested a full inspection for 199$.
My question is if I get them to do a Service B now will that include the road test?
Also, the dealer have a 189 $ pot-hole special in their website which includes Wheel Alignment, Tire rotation, inspect wheel, reset tire pressure - should I get that instead?
Thank you.

So, speaking from experience, I know that I need to give the dealer very specific descriptions of how to duplicate the noise. So drive the car for a few days, and see what combination of circumstances can usually / always duplicate the issue. Things like:
Speed -- high or low
Bumps -- over uneven pavement, potholes, speed bumps, etc.
Steering - when the wheels are turned or not
When the car is warming up vs. warmed up
.etc., etc...
When you have figured out the best combination, then go to the dealer --> this will ensure they find the problem, which if under warranty will not incur a diagnostic charge. Usually the dealer will waive the diagnostic charge if you have it repaired by them if not a warranty item (e.g., you ran over a curb and damaged a suspension component).
Here are the comments from the service advisor - my front tire is 5/32 (L), 4/32 (R) and rear are 9/32 (L - this was replaced last year as I hit a nail) and 5/32(R). They said I can continue driving safely and if the noise is an annoyance they can replace the front right tire (which is 4/32). I thought Mercedes recommends changing tires when the tread is below 5/32, any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks very much.

I don't know what M-B recommends but I start shopping at 5/32, and replace at 3/32".
I start getting aquaplaning at 4/32, and I don't like going into winter with less than 5/32.
So my replacement schedule is season dependent.
I think the wear bars are set at 2/32.
These cars are highly computerized and updates to software and firmware are very crucial.
