Emergency Spare R19
I've just purchased an Emergency spares. Size is at 155/80R19.
However my current wheel is 255/45R20.
Mercedes parts told me that this correct size for the spare.
Checking the tyre calc, diameter difference is about 0.2" (5mm)
Any issue, do you all think?
Mind you that it is for an emergency, so won't be using it unless out of town (Mercedes assist might be take too long).
Any feedback appreciated.

Well done, was it from a Dealer, Part number ?
or did you purchase from elsewhere. ?
Cost please ?
Many thanks
Hi Mate
Bought it from a dealer, where I got my Merc certified GLC.
I was a bit wary trying to get outside the dealership because worry about sizing, and studs size.
Even with the dealership, I had to confirm a couple of times if I do not need difference size studs length.
(I had that experience with my GL which require different studs)
The parts are listed below.
It has aluminium rim, not steel rim. It had compensated thickness in the design and therefore could use the same studs.
I also bought the tool kit. It did not fit into the mould on the left corner - the jack much bigger. But it's okay, it comes with a bag.
As for the wheel cover, they gave me the wrong size. Just got a call on Friday that the correct one is ready to be collected- On second thought, It is not really necessary.
But already paid for it.
It is a bit tight. But still manage to close the bottom cover.
Just be careful of the fuses cover on the bottom right of the wheel - still enough "clearance"t though. I put an unused aluminium plate to give it additional support - but I think not necessary.
If it was 145mm, it would but perfect. But 145 is not an equivalent spare.
Since I got a compressor, I actually deflate it slightly. I think it helps to fit better.
Spare wheel is $700. toolkit is $150 (all before GST), In all, I paid $1100 (including the wheel cover & GST).
Part shown below, but might be superseded - as I was told about the toolkit and cover.
