Hi friend , My 2016 GLC300 4matic front axle shaft inner joint is leaking GREASE Dealership quote me $2110 to replace it. So I decided to replace the boots myself but not really sure about part number, any information will be really appreciate and thank you in advance

I found pin hole and leaked grease around the boot.

I triedI Rtv gasket maker to cover the pin hole. Failed. Rtv does not stick hard to the boot rubber. So leaked again. I tried silicone base glue. Same fail.

Finally I used an electric soldering iron to melt the rubber 1mm depth around the pin hole. That worked.

Thank you for the info . I searching online number that I found on rubber boots but nothing come up .

My pinhole picture is outer (tire side)boot.

Your picture is at inner (transmission side) boot.

I don't know if anyone sell the boot only

My boot leaked again from the somewhere under the metal clamp.

I put silicone gasket maker rtv. But leaked again because not really stick to the rubber boot.

I bought "polyurethane base flexible" caulking, and seems work well now.
