GLC350e is a Lemon!
Drives great when it’s not in the shop. Which is always. Thank goodness it’s a only 2 year Lease. I feel totally unsafe because the brake lights the engine lights the battery lights come on randomly usually at night and often when going over Grapevine in LA. I leased this thinking it would be a safe reliable ride since a lot of my work is out of town and I drive alone at night . Have not been pleased with the service either. No one understands how this car works .

This place is a joke.
Any of MB's hybrids come with a strong "do not buy" suggestion from me. It's a shame because the base GLC300 is a huge seller and a decent and reliable car.

another issue for those that have the car is that the lithium-ion battery for the car has been discontinued...so what happens when the battery eventually needs to be replaced? Does another brand of battery fit the car and how costly is the replacement? Something to think about!

GLC350e is a bust
Bought my first and probably my last Certified 2019 GLC350e from Mercedes’ Benz dealership in Lincolnwood Illinois August 1st 2022,. Wishing I had read all the reviews about the car before I bought it. What a disgrace to the Mercedes’ Benz name. The car is back in the dealership for a second time for hybrid malfunction caused by the A/C compressor, now on second visit car wouldn’t start, finally got it started and it accelerates like a flippin Yugo! If I ever get it back I’m selling it as fast as I can. MB should be ashamed for selling this hybrid.

Coming back to this post to update. My sales person at MB says that, despite the fact the GLC 350e has been discontinued, by law they have to be able to supply parts to fix the cars, and that includes the electric batteries. My son's GLC 350e was a lemon law buy back (had to hire an attorney as they ignored us prior). Mine started to get yellow "oil can" light as about 5k miles and was in and out of the shop for several months until they finally found a technician who knew how to work on the hybrid cars! No problem since then and I now have 12k miles on the car and 30 months into lease. Warranty on electric battery is whichever comes first of 6 years/100k miles. It's a 2020 model. The big question now is whether or not it is safe to buy it if nothing else goes wrong before my lease expires in August? It was a special order with Designo White metallic paint and black and white Nappa leather seats. For the first time in my adult life my residual is less than the car is selling for so it's tempting, plus everything else I consider seems to be selling way over sticker with terrible lease rates. Thoughts please!

2019 GLC 350e
We absolutely love ours. While the battery should have been bigger, I like the way it drives more than the 2025 loaner I had while getting new tires. We haven’t had any issues except the AC unit, which MB eventually covered.
