How to use the WIS??

Got my hands on a copy of the WIS and I'm having a heck of a time finding the instructions to replace the fuel pocket/ fuel door cover. Anyone have any links or videos or tips on how I find the instructions in the WIS to remove and replace?

You need to use EPC, not WIS, to find parts. Start EPC, enter your VIN, and surf through the parts categories until you find what you're looking for. EPC is easier to use than WIS once you get the hang of it.

I thought you were looking for parts. EPC is used for that.

For service procedures use WIS. Enter the VIN. Scroll in the lower left window for the category of interest. Click “repair” (I think that’s what it’s called) in the lower right window. Then click “start search” in the middle of the screen. All service procedures related to the category selected will come up. Surf through those until you find what you need.

You can also do a keyword search. Try using “flap” as that’s what MB calls it.
