GLC250D 2016 Whistling noise
Hi All,
I’ve been debating really badly with the mb service centre regarding the noise from my engine.
It is whistle or humming noise. The noise starts to appear when my car is on hold for traffic light RPM just below 1000. Itis very hard to describe and demonstrate to the mb service centre since it only appears when weather is very humid. If the weather is perfect, it is very hard to noice the sound.
They’ve advised me that the noise is acceptable due to age and milage which are just before 5 years old and 94200km.
The noise is not loud but it drives me crazy since it is more frequent and it alongs with hissing sound when I accelerate or decelerate.
It would be much appreciated if I could get some tips or help regarding this issue.
